Meet the Team
Michael Daly FCA - Founder
Michael set up Daly Accounting in early 2020 during the first Covid lockdown prior to which he was a consultant to technology start-ups.
Outside of work Michael enjoys a game of golf and is a keen Irish rugby supporter.
Richard Grimes (ACCA) -
Client Manager
Richard has previous experience in both practice and industry working with a variety of small and medium sized enterprises. Richard manages our Virtual Finance Office (VFO) service including preparing Management Accounts for a number of clients.
Outside of work Richard is kept busy with two young children and supporting Aston Villa.
Matthew Cowell -
Contract Bookkeeper
Matt is an experienced bookkeeper and is Xero certified. Matt also has a separate bookkeeping business helping clients with Sage but with Daly Accounting his focus is entirely on Xero.
Matt keeps active by regularly playing walking football.
Elise Everest - Client Bookkeeper & Payroll Manager
Having joined from a large local practice in early 2022 Elise looks after the bookkeeping requirements for a number of clients as well as managing the payroll function for the practice.
Elise is experienced in VAT and is XERO certified. Outside of work Elise doubles as a Yoga instructor.
Gemma Gilbert - Virtual Assistant
Gemma is the founder of Two Birds Resources, a Virtual Assistant business dedicated to supporting bookkeepers and accountants.
Gemma supports us with our admin and has been helping us streamline out internal processes.
In her spare time, Gemma enjoys spending time with family and socialising with friends.
